The Security of Exchange Funds of our clients is of first importance to us. Your exchange funds are held in a segregated trust account with Union Bank of California. We do not commingle or pool a client's exchange funds with any other funds. The bank account is an interest-bearing, money market account with daily liquidity and is FDIC insured for up to $100,000. You may also purchase supplemental insurance for balances in excess of $100,000. The bank sends the monthly statements and 1099s directly to you and gives you the option of viewing your account on-line directly so you can independently verify the amount of the deposit and interest at any time. In addition, you can request that the funds be held in a "Qualified Escrow Account" that requires your written authorization to the bank for any withdrawals. You can also choose to have the funds held in a different bank for an additional set up charge. Find Union Bank of California's latest credit ratings here.
We can provide client and bank references upon request. For more information or to speak with someone at our office, please call us at: (425) 646-4020 |
